Lorie you mentioned muscle spasms and leg jerking. Can you elaborate like

when and under what conditions does this happen? Can you describe how the

spasms etc feel? What kind of pain is it, is it a stabbing pain, a painful

knotting, a pulsing pain or what. Be as detailed and specific as you can so

we can maybe suggest or say something to help. Specifically what is it that

has you conclude that it is Restless Leg Syndrome. We really would like to

help you if we can.

Hi Lorie,

There are others who can advise you better than I on what drugs might

counteract the effects of the anti-depressant and quiet the RLS.

I am NOT a doctor so these are just questions.

After three years do you still need the anti-depressant? When I stopped

taking Paxil my RLS calmed down considerably. So now I am looking into and

using alternatives to pharmaceuticals for the depression.

Is there another anit-depressant that you could switch to? Help me out here

folks are there antidepressants that are not so harmful in this way?

Basicly, you have to get as educated as you can get. Ask questions, demand

all the information on your condition as well as the drugs being prescribed.

And stick with the group. It's a big help. Welcome
