Guest guest
Hello, my name is Lorie and I just discovered I have RLS. I have been on antidepressants for three years and started noticing problems to my left leg and had told doctors of these symptoms that I was having the jerking of the leg , muscle spasms and so forth they just said oh it's a side effect? Well, last night I was determined to find out anything about this problem that I have and couldn't believe what I had learned and discovered. My main interest right now is trying to learn all I can about this syndrome and how to deal with it? My left leg has gotten to the point of being in pain all the time now not just at night, it has caused me to hardly be able to work anymore I have been considering applying for Disability but, maybe someone in the group can give me some good advise I'm just so overwhelmed that I found out about this syndrome and I'm so full of questions. It is a big relief though to know that I'm not alone with this problem. So , please any advise would be greatly appreciated!!!
Guest guest
Okay Group what do you all think? Except for the problems Lorie has with walking and standing I would guess that she does have RLS. Any recommendations as to what she can do to help herself? Remember she's financially strapped and hasn't any medical coverage. I wish she could see a GP and have her symptoms written out when she does. Except for hot soaks in the tub, soothing music and other hints on Jill's page www.zone.com/~gunzel.rls.tml I'm kinda at a loss. HELP!!
