Subject: Risks

To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.

To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.

To reach out to another is to risk involvement.

To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self.

To place your ideas and dreams before a crowd is to risk their loss.

To love is to risk not being loved in return.

To live is to risk dying.

To hope is to risk despair.

To try is to risk failure.

But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk

nothing.

The person who risks nothing does nothing, has nothing and is nothing.

He may avoid suffering and sorrow but he cannot learn, feel, change,

grow or live.

Chained by his certitudes, he is slave; he has forfeited his freedom.

Only a person who risks is free.

On the Internet, nobody knows you're a cat.

The total sum of the world's IQ is constant. If the population is

increasing, then intelligence is ...

A little village of Trids (like Smurfs only green) had built their water

well on the top of a hill. An evil troll took over the hill and wouldn't

let the Trids get any water. Every Trid that went up the hill was kicked

down by the troll. Frustrated, the Trids asked the local Rabbi for help. He

climbed the hill and got the water with any trouble from the troll. When he

went back up the hill he asked the troll why he had not kicked him down the

hill. The troll replied, " Silly rabbi, kicks are for Trids. "
