Hi Pat,

You ask has anyone else experienced estrogen/rls problems. Yes, yes, yes! My

RLS didn't even exist untill I started Premarin/Provera 2 1/2 years ago. It

took about 6 months before I really noticed any symptoms of RLS. I ask both

my GYN and Internist if there could possibly be a link between the two. Of

course not!

While in a menopause support group online I learned of the various types of

estrogen one can take. In August 1998 I asked my GYN to switch me to Estratab

which is plant based. It took about two months as I recall for the symptoms

to really tame themselves down. Now I'm doing remarkably well. I do still

take .5mg of Ativan before going to bed nightly.

Now if I can just solve the continuous pain and swelling in the right back

side of my neck that also brings on headaches and muscle spasms which has been

going on since I hit my head on the bottom of a swimming pool this past June.

I'm curious, Pat, what dosage of Premarin does the doctor have you on now?

Pat, 49, Indiana, soon to be 48
