Guest guest
Dear Pepper, Excuse me, but could you please explain that to me in English? Not only does that not make any sence, but for all the arguments against " convetional " medicine, you have yourself taking one thing, inorder to take another, inorder to supplement another-sounds like self medicating to me.I don't see the difference. One you buy OTC and the other you buy BTC (behind the counter:)( rx). I have seen and heard of too many people spend fortunes on the latest/greatest " natural/homeopathic/herbal remedy, only to be let down, and/or to have serious side affects-just like prescription medications.I have learned over the years to ask for samples of a new rx so that I don't waste my money on something that either doesn't work or makes me ill.If I can't get samples, I'll ask the pharmasist to only give me a weeks worth. When a person is miserable with whatever is ailing them and they're desperate for relief, 9 out of 10 times, they'll risk that " instant " cure, or that " experimental " drug. I think we've all done that here. That's why this support group, any support group is so important. Besides the obvious-support, it's the valuable information and sharing of experiences of what works and what doesn't. I just don't like to see these bitter debates over conventional vs alternative treatments. In my opinion, they both have thier pro's and con's, yet the Hatfield and McCoy mentality will get us no where.
