Your daughter would probably benefit from some sort of bracing and/or exercises. Has she seen her dr.? Melody >> Melody this sounds like my son Adam.. Braces have helped him a lot. Guest guest
Hi, My names . When I was about 6, I started tripping over my feet, and my left foot curved to the left. I was having weakness in my hands, and they have slowly progressed to where one can hardly move. I have spells where I get shaky, but with my asthma inhaler, its hard to tell where the shakiness comes from. I just turned 14, so I have had all this progression over about 6 years. I still trip alot and I can't straighten out my foot when I walk; it's pretty uncomfortable to do so. It's probably normal, if that helps. -
Guest guest
HI all, I do not know if any of you have had any similar experience with CMT but I thought that I would give this a shot. My daughter (Bethany who has CMT 1-a) has dtarted having problems with her right foot turning in towards her left foot and her whole walk starts to drift toward the left. She is also having extreme weekness in her hands and this is causing her to shake and spill more. I am not sure if this is related to her CMT, but I can find no other reason for her to have such weakness. Actually, this scars and I need to know if anybody else has had similar experiences. I too have CMT but I was not diagnosed until I was 22, she was diagnosed much ealier. If anybody can help tell me what may be going on please do so. Thanks a bunch.
