Guest guest
CBS will be forced to discontinue 'Touched by an Angel; for using the word 'God' in every program. Madeline Murray O'Hare, an atheist, eliminated the use of Bible reading and prayer from schools 15 years ago. A Federal Hearing by the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) in Washington, DC, has been granted on petition, No. 2493, which would ultimately pave the way to stop the reading of the Gospel on the airwaves of America. If they are successful, all Sunday worship services broadcast by radio or television will stop. This group is also campaigning to remove all Christmas programs, songs and carols from public schools. You can help! At least one million signed letters would defeat their effort. Send your 'I protest' letter today to: Federal Communications Commission, Washington, DC 20054. In the letter and on the envelope reference Petition 2493, 2495. The letters should not be signed Mr. & Mrs - each should sign and mail their own in separate envelopes. The wording in the sample letter is: I protest any effort to remove from radio or television, programs designed to nurture faith in God, or to remove Christmas programs, songs and carols from public airwaves, school, office buildings, etc., as proposed in Petition 2493 or 2495. Stand up for your religious freedom and let your voice be heard. Together we can make a difference!
