Guest guest
Haven't had milk in years. It's a great beverage for baby calves ... but WAY too much fat for human consumption ... I eat a little ice cream once in a while though. In fact, ice cream used to be an addiction with me. I get calcium from food supplements ... and never had a broken bone. Played football in HS, raced motorcycles, sport judo, bicycle racing ... And crashed a few time during both the motorcycle and bicycle racing. I think a person can keep bones strong through exercise, especially weight training. This is especially important for women. Any other weight trainers out there??? Guest guest
Hi and welcome back. I too am an ice cream fanatic. Almost any flavor, but mostly butter pecan. I use to like working out when I was younger, but life interupted and after going without for a year, maybe more, I just couldn't get back into it. That was over 10 years ago. Can someone start over without doing damage? I would like to try. I could use it. I have been using 1lb weights with my recovery of CTS release. I am due back under the knife in a month, if my hand recovers according to plan, so I suppose I'll have wait for now. Great to see your input again, Happiness to you, Michele
Guest guest
Hi, Michele. Re work out " starting over " I understand that great strides can be made, even with very old folks in nursing homes, especially with weights. I know that my mom, age 85, does well with her " trainer " and with occasional PT. I think we just have to be careful not to overdo, because we'll pay! Right? Also, of course, any " working out " that I might do now is going to be vastly different from 30 years ago! (LOL) Good luck. Regards, Carolyn > Hi and welcome back. I too am an ice cream fanatic.
