If the school (and her classes) are spread out over a large area, two lockers

might help. You would have to look at the logistics, but it pays off if keeps

her from carrying books all over the place.

a, when starts high school, see if she can have 2 sets of

books, 1 for school, 1 for home. At least she won't have to drag books

back and forth.

Hi Everyone, I totally agree with you, Grechen.Write everything down, and get

a copy of every paper the school has on your child. Keep in touch with your

child's teacher,make sure he or she knows your there and that you want to be

a part of your childs school life. I write down anything I want to bring up

in Co's IEP and usually send a note to school so the teacher knows my

question before hand and can think about a solution before our meeting.

Getting an extra set of books is a wonderful idea, and in the future, I will

remember that for Cody. Many Blessings, Michele
