Guest guest
Chris As with everything about RLS, you are not alone. I experience burning or stinging feelings usually in my side or in the tips of my fingers or toes. As I have said before, they are a signal to get active in order to abort an upcoming bout of RLS. The RLS usually appears within 10-15 minutes if I don't get going. These feelings usually appear in the early evening. The sequence is completely different than that occurring at bedtime, when the legs and arms just do their thing without skin burning first. I find myself rubbing the burning areas to attempt to make the burning disappear. Strangely, the burning episodes occur whether I am taking medication or not. Mirapex takes care of the bedtime RLS very well. As to Susie's comment, I also found it to be funny and didn't give it a second thought. She frequently makes funny remarks (some funnier than others) and I took this as just another one. I, personally, would rather see an attempt at humor than an endless, repetitive harangue that bores me to tears. I have worn out my " delete " keys and have to buy a new keyboard. Guest guest
I'm using new ISP and am not too familiar w/how to use it. On my AOL I could respond to all persons chatting and I hope this is the way to do it with the internet service I'm using now. I'm writing this morning to ask if anyone who might be taking Neurontin has experienced any side effects from it. Specifically what I'm experiencing is that my " feet " seem to constantly move. Not when I'm sleeping, at least I don't think so. It's not the same kind of creepy, crawly feeling we're used to, it's just the feet seem to want to keep moving. I find myself just moving them or rubbing them together. It happens when I go to bed and when I awaken in the morning if I lay in bed awhile. When I realize I'm doing it, or it's happening I tell myself to stop and I do. But, before I know it it's happening again. Oh boy, just looked out my window and it's just the prettiest sight. Like a glass ball being shaken full of snow. BEAUTIFUL. Sometimes it pays not to be able to sleep. I would have missed this pretty sight. By the way Dr. Levin if you see this a while ago I mentioned that I thought Mirapex was making my joints ache. Since then for a number of reasons Dr. E. just my med to the Neurontin. Am only taking 200 mgs at this point but it seems to be helping me sleep, at least most of the time. My point is that the joint aches have stopped, w/in a week after I stopped the Mirapex. I feel so much better now not having all that added pain. The normal pain is bad enough. Kathy Re: stings and things > > >Chris > >As with everything about RLS, you are >not alone.
