Guest guest
Has anyone tried this? Yes, I am on it now. I take 75mgs after breakfast and 75mgs after lunch and then I take 45mgs of Remeron at bedtime. I have a lot of side effects with medications but so far I have had none with what I am taking. I keep my finger crossed that it will stay that way. Take care, Irene Books may well be the only true magic Alice Hoffman
Guest guest
It evens out my moods. I can be really tense and I'm not as tense when I take this everyday. I can't take more than 37.5 per day as it makes me aggressive. I'm not stressed but everyone else is. I use Xanax prn for anxiety attacks or anxiousness. You must be weaned from Effexor and take it regular. You can't skip it or take it as needed as it becomes part of regulating your brain chemistry. Not taken proberly or quitting cold turkey will make you SICK. It doesn't do crap for fibro - just nerves/anxiety. > Has anyone tried this? Guest guest
I take 75 mg in AM and 150 mg in PM. Doesn't do much for fibromyalgia but my mood is a lot better. Don't stop taking cold turkey or you will be SICK. MAry Ann ---------------------------------

I was on Prozac for about 5 years and was actually extremely depressed and getting worse on it. The Effexor XR has made a wonderful difference. I also haven't noticed any side effects from it either. Guest guest
Took Effexor for two years and decided I didn't like the way I was feeling. Began weaning off of it, every other day, and stopped after a couple weeks. Took three tries before it finally worked without making me depressed. Have been med free for a year now. YEAH!!! Without the antidepressents, I don't get depressed. Was on them for about seven years. Explain that? The pain is there one way or another so why take the meds to elevate the moods. Vit B complex works better for me. MP --- territa58 territa58@...> wrote: > It evens out my moods. I can be really tense and > I'm not as tense > when I take this everyday.
