Guest guest
I take Xanax (only) at the moment. I have taken it in the past and never have become addicted to it. I quit it as easily as I started it. I didn't HAVE to have Xanax, I just HAVE to have something to give me enough relief to get to sleep. I do not take " holidays " from any med . I just take it until it gets to the point where it's not helping at all or until it takes too much of that med to do any good. I am currently taing 2 x .5 mg at bedtime, hopefully before it sets in. If it keeps up, I'll take another. When I need to take 4 to get through the night, I quit and find something else. I don't really know where to go from here as I don't want to take the Parkinsons drugs again. Pain meds work pretty well, but I have never asked my Dr. for this for RLS. If I do I'll go armed with evidence as to the success of such. Ninette
