Guest guest
Greetings to all of you. Just discovered this place, Jodi. Been browsing the RLS Support site (Dr. B's) and ran across you and this list. I think it's great to have a support network of others who understand what we go through...why we are standing at the back of the movies when there are plenty of seats, or why we can't go get a pedicure. Anybody else in southern California? I've been to a couple of the RLS support meetings in Whittier. I keep in touch with " Bill " and I'm glad to say Dr. Buchfuhrer is my primary care doc (found him via the RLS support site). So hard to find a doctor who knows enough about RLS to find an effective treatment!! In closing I want you all to know that I'm glad to have found you and if I run across anything helpful I'll be glad to share it with you. Hopefully, somebody will come up with a cure in our lifetime! Cheers, Joyce
Guest guest
Enjoyed your post because you hit on two of my most difficult areas. Movies -- what a nightmare and pedicures -- Whoa !!! A friend gave me a professional facial massge for a birthday gift one time. Thought I would die before I got out of there. Glad to have you with us. Guest guest
Yep, Ninette's right - it's the simple little every day things that most people take for granted, that are just as annoying as not being able to go and/or stay asleep, that cause frustration. My anxiety level always rises when I know I have to do something that requires sitting. A mug of coffee during these times often helps me, but not for more than an hour, tops. ne, 59, Lawrenceville, NJ --- Ninette ninettecampbell@...> wrote: > From: ninettecampbell@...
