The reason for a sleep study is to find out why you aren't getting good sleep, if you have apnea, or PLMD. Sleep studies are not needed to diagnose RLS, so RLS drugs treatment drugs should be allowed. But this is not always the case I guess. Perhaps any doctors who may not allow RLS drugs should be questioned as to why. And it probably is wise to sneak in some drugs just in case. I would have hated to have had a severe RLS attach while I was wired for my sleep study!
