Guest guest
<< Nevertheless it is very important for me, to meet some people to share some experience about this topic and how to live with CMT. Because of the fact that this kind of illness isn't well known here, the first diagnosises of several doctors in my case were wrong. I remarked the first symptoms of CMT at the age of 12 because I was not able to use roller blades. Seven years later a doctor found out, that it is CMT. >> Hallo Marco, Welcome. The same thing happens in the US, sorry to say. Many doctors don't know about CMT yet in all countries. You aren't alone, but I'm glad you found this group. I hope we can help you with answers to your questions. At least one of our members is fluent in German. You wrote a very clear, good letter. Guest guest
Marco, it's very nice to meet you. Your sentence structure is very understandable..... It sounds like you are very outgoing. I hope you find this list to be as helpful as I have. I am 38 and my CMT showed up at age 5. It affects both legs and feet and both hands. I have a AFO (leg brace) and I use arm crutches to get around. Jeanie (from Oregon) Moonglow21@...
