Guest guest
Kathy, Funny that you mention this. This happens to me post surgery too. I only know because the last time, the staff actually came out of the OR/RR and asked my husband why this would be happening. Same story, though, they didn't know squat aboutg RLS. I'm scheduled for surgery again next Friday, and I'm more concerned about the RLS than the surgery!! Guest guest
Kathy, My mom has had sever things go wrong lately. She is 90 and never had a twitch in her life unitl her sergury. Now she has it big time and woke up with a blister on her foot. She still complains of " hot feet " She is a diabetic and they packed them in ice which was not a good idea (I thought), but ofcourse they wouldn't listen to me and now both the rls and the hot feet are worse. She is under the care of a neuor who is mine and I thought she was pretty smart. She does depent a lot on me to take her things from the group and the " night walkers " symptoms page....we are so slow here that she has not yet heard of the drug meripex!!!!! I don't think it was a coincidence that you both got blisters after surgery. There is something going on here we don't know about!!!
