Guest guest
AFOs are Ankle Foot Orthotics Also called callipers or braces The usual AFOs are plastic, L shape, fit under the foot and up the back of the calf (lower leg). They need 3 straps to hold them in place (most do). AFOs are used to help balance and footdrop, and to give support for walking.
