Hi Becca,

Can the Magnesium and Neurontin be taken at the same time? The

pharmacist told me they can't - that the mag. will take away Neurontin's

effects. What do you think?

HI Gretchen,

As far as I know yes they can be taken together. I do take them together and

to the best of my knowledge there hasn't been any problem. BUT-- since

someone told you otherwise, I will specifically find out tomorrow.

I see my chiropractor in the AM. and I have a friend who is a pharmacist and

I will find out for sure!!

HELLO!!!!

I talked to a few people today.

DOCTOR and 2 pharmacists

They basically agreed that you should NOT take Neurontin and Magnesium

together.

Two hours apart is a better choice.

Which also means to watch out for PRODUCTS that contain magnesium if you are

taking the Neurontin, too.

And example of this is MAALOX.

THANKS
