Guest guest
I've heard of that too, and I'm glad to hear that it's working for you. But I have one question....how do you stand the taste? Yuck! Kristy, 43, Fountain Hills, AZ
Guest guest
Hi , Tonic water (two 8 oz glasses) before bed was the first suggestion I rec'd for RLS. Other than make me get up to go to the bathroom a couple of times, it didn't seem to do anything for my RLS. I then found an over-the-counter quinine sulfate capsule that I used for awhile - it seemed to help some. Then quinine became available only via prescription and this particular product disappeared. My experience with prescription quinine was a disappointment. Since it's so simple and easy to get, tonic water is certainly worth a shot. Guest guest
Having downed a sea of tonic water and freightloads of QVell when it was available OTC, IMHO, adding a strong shot of gin offered the only RLS relief. But, back then, adding a strong shot of gin was my solution to everthing! 56 in TX
Guest guest
I have been taking 650 Mg. of quinine each morning for 3 weeks for daytime RLS symptoms, there has been no help for me. It was an RX, because a bunch of people died from it my pharmacist told me.
