Yeah, , I'm with you. As a recovering alcoholic, that includes for

me no booze, no pot.And nobody brings it in my house either. And believe

me, I would love to smoke the pot. But it's been almost 21 years without

either and I have learned/am learning to manage pain. Pot and booze

never really took away my pain anyway, just made me walk like I was

drunk (LOL) and pot just made me laugh alot. Another thing with smoking

anything, there is always the problem of one's lungs being damaged and I

don't need more problems. My depression is better managed with

journaling, recognizing feelings, support, etc.

Also, one can make pot butter and bake it into cookies, brownies, etc. The

dose is not as regulated as when smoking and the effects take longer (up to

two hours) to take effect.
