Guest guest
Hello- My name is Kathy, I am 34 years old and was recently (finally!) diagnosed with RLS. I realize I have been suffering from it for years, but didn't know what a serious, debilitating disorder it can be. I got my dx after 2 sleep studies and the care of a great neurologist. She prescribed klonopin, and I have had the best couple nights sleep in I can't remember how long. Funny thing is, now I see how it's been bothering me during the day, as well. I've been just dismissing it as " one of those things. " Other than that, I am a librarian by profession, but am now a full-time mom. We live in Kentucky - my husband is in the military. Other than my son, I use counted x-stitch and crafts to keep busy. I do have a question for the group, has anyone used alternate therapies - vitamins, supplements, etc. - to deal with this? I am glad I found the RLS support site and this listserv. I look forward to reading and learning. Thanks. Kathy - 34, KY ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
