Guest guest
Art, in my case this is not the case. Before Mirapex, I got very little sleep, and also had rls during the day. I don't think this is the placebo effect, because the other night I forgot to take it, and awoke with terrible rls - couldn't imagine what was going on until I remembered I had not taken the mirapex - out of usual routine with Christmas festivities, etc.. I am so glad my doctor is willing to prescribe this med, because supposedly, they technically aren't supposed to, unless for intended use. Any input, Dr. Levin? ne, 58, Lawrenceville, NJ ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Guest guest
Hi Art, it is true that our meds are fighting the symptoms not the disease. But, if you have diabetes you do the same, no doubt. I am sorry they didn't work for you, but nothing is the same for everyone. I have a close to normal life now, thanks to my meds. I will have to change meds from time to time, but I had to do without a few nights, 3 weeks ago, and I remember how it was before I found a dr. who knows about rls.I went nuts, no second of sleep. This was my vote on behalf of the meds. That also is an individual experience. Bye, Marleen, 52,Holland ArtHaendel@... wrote: > From: ArtHaendel@... > > I have had rls for about 10 years.
