Guest guest
Connie, Thanks for Eve's letter. She sounds so upbeat! I'm glad for her. It was great that she was able to go to her daughters' concert.....and that everything was ok. Hopefully by the end of the month Eve will be better equiped to handle the stressors which bring on her attacks. Because, after all, these stressors are not going anywhere. They are going to be with us for our lives so we might as well learn how to handle them! My RLS kicked into high gear tonight. We moved some furniture to my sister's and took the 2 hour each way trip in hubby's work van. First claustrophobia set in then Look Out! the leg started up! I had my shoe off and was jabbing the bottom of my foot with a closed ink pen. I needed to be driving so I wouldn't notice the closed in leg area in his 1 ton work utility van......but I have never driven it before. I made it to town WV and then had to walk all around her apartment bldg for a while before I could get back into that van for the ride home. That set the foot off big time too! I tried to fall asleep but no way was RLS going to let me sleep. I'm sitting here now for the past half hour with the Thumper on the sole of my foot - second level so I am going to pay for it tomorrow with a sore ball of the foot! But, that's the only way I'll be agle to sleep tonight. Hope you are doing ok tonight. I don't post much but I am worried about all of us on the list because I've also had thoughts of cutting the foot off, beating it with a hammer, all sorts of nutty things and I know that if it is as bad as mine, you all feel the same way. Sleep restful and well, Tina
