Guest guest Posted June 2, 2000 Report Share Posted June 2, 2000 Hello Cat, What I have gotten out of Yoga is the combined effects of breathing at the same time of stretching, and this results so far in a better idea of how my body moves through space and has given me greater body awareness. Yoga links the mind/body connection in a way that I can't get from riding my bike for example. I think some of the Yoga classes have '1 or two free sessions' you can go and test a few stretches out also there are classes for Beginners which are informative and easy. There are also 'Senior' classes which any age person can go to, or those with disabilities or recovering from surgery. At least that's what is out my way.
