Living and/or working in Los Angeles the Damned would stress anyone out. I

used to work in downtown LA

In the past number of years since my chronic neck pain problem, I have

striven to simplify my life. Of course, as I have shared before, this

simplification process, and health problems cost me my long term marriage. I

have tried to get rid of every stressor in my life. I have changed my

lifestyle drastically. I have gone from a monthly expense of over $10,000 to

about $2000. I sold the big house with the pool, and now I live in a large,

double wide mobile home in a luxury mobile home park. I have even taken in a

room mate to help with the expenses. My monthly space rental fee is around

$500. including water, trash and sewer charges. My room mate pays me $425.

per month. So ... it can be done ... one just has to be willing to give up

some of the trappings. I no longer buy a new car every other year either ...

I buy used cars with about 70 thousand miles on them ... and then drive the

wheels off of them. When I shop, I shop at Costco and buy large amounts that

will keep ... i.e., canned goods, paper goods, cleaning supplies, etc. All of

this has reduced stress in my life to a large degree. The one thing pain

people don't need, is stress ...
