(rlssupport) Is Dr. Levin still around? + Help with ferritin level

Hi!

I'm a returnee. I subscribed to this list for over a year and then went out

of town for three weeks. When I came back, the list had stopped coming. At

the time, I was having great success with Mirapex. Almost NO symptoms. But

(sigh) the symptoms have returned so I'm glad to be back!!!!!

HELP! I have been working on my ferritin level for a couple of years now,

taking 180 mg. of elemental iron daily. My ferritin level is still stuck

between 15 and 18. My doctor admits to not knowing much about RLS and has

referred me to a neurologist, but the first opening he (the neuro) has is

July 27th. Does anyone have any suggestions for raising ferritin level? Dr.

Levin has written about it on the list, but I don't know how to contact him.

Are you still with us, Dr. Levin? If so, do you recommend iron shots? My

other blood iron levels are normal. Any other suggestions? Also, I'm

wondering how YOU are doing! Would love to hear from you!

I'd also be interested in knowing if others who have gone on Mirapex have had

a return of symptoms. So glad to be back with y'all! I need you!
