Guest guest
Hi Joyce, My hands do get tingly at times, but what bother me the most is that they get downright cold, like icecubes. I hate weather below 60 degress because my hands and feet get so cold. Oddly enough, my AFOs have helped tremendously to keep my feet warmer... What do I do for my hands??? Not much. I have been dealing with CMT since I was 5 (am now 41) and have gotten used to a lot of the discomfort or odd sensation. If my hands really bother me, sometimes I run them under warm water in an attempt to warm them back up. Or if they are tingling a lot I will " exercise them " to try and stimulate blood flow back into the area. I usually find the " tingling " is present during periods of stress or inactivity.
