Guest guest
All, One of the things that can flare my RLS is exercise that uses my low back (walking, moving things, bending, twisting, etc). My understanding is that my RLS was originally triggered as a result of low back injuries, and the exercise inflames tissues that then press on nerves and brings on the RLS. In these cases, icing my low back seems to help if I catch it in time. Guest guest
I don't know who this supposed doctor is, but he seems to be very narrow minded about RLS. I guess my two teenage boys who have RLS are being " hysterical. " I just don't buy the vericose vein thing. It may work for some, but by reading this list, there are a lot of men here too. And 96%? I don't think so. Hmmmmm, I don't see any vericose veins in my arms!!! --or legs for that matter. My mother didn't have vericose veins either, and neither does my husband. We're just a family of RLS'ers. Guest guest
, I have tingling in my arms as well. More in my right arm. My chiropracter thinks it may be constricted muscles in my pec's. When I lay on the chiro table face down, my arms go totally dead. Do you do stretches for arms and chest after you play tennis or swim? In the last week since I have been doing the stretches, the sensations have drastically subsided (felt like tingling or vibration). Hope this helps!
