Guest guest
Well, my wierd spot is also related to where my bra hits, but it is on the front, right side, right under the b..... . And it usually happens when I go to bed, without a bra on. Of all my paresthesias, this one is the worst and drives me nuts, it is almost a buzzing sensation, constant, and keeps going until the Xanax kicks in. Guest guest
Tina, Jo and others, about " the tag and bra disease " (Jack, keep your mouth shut) I think that our nervous system is oversensitive, that is why we react like we do. An rls attack can be started by a touch of the sheet, by a little itch, by my foot massager etc.and our nerves react on the labels, tags, bra material almost allergic. Just another opinion, Marleen, 53, with bra,Holland wellscon wrote: > > > Yes, Jo, that describes it exactly - a buzzing! Under my left " wing " and > right where the bra snaps. Guest guest
Hi group, I don't know a whole lot about this, but there is something called " tactile defensive " meaning an oversensitivity to touch. It can also affect how one perceives textures in foods and I wonder if those of you who have trouble with tags, sheets, etc., also have certain textured foods that you will not eat. Could the oversensitivity to touch not be a part of rls, but aggravate it and intensify the attacks? Or even bring an rls attack on? I am not sensitive to touch in a way that brings on an attack; however, if my knees are doing their thing, I either want someone to push or massage my knees - a heavy touch - or DON'T TOUCH AT ALL!!!!! A slight touch will make my leg or ankle jerk and produce that electiical sensation. This really doesn't have anything to do with rls - or maybe it does - we all seem to have odd things besides rls going on. I can't stand anyone to whisper in my ear, especially my right ear, to eat, crunch food, or drink and swallow near my ear. Sometimes, my children will come in while I am on the computer and will stand behind me to see what I am doing. If they are drinking or eating, I have to make them stop or get further away from me. It drives me CRAZY and sometimes I will get a vibrating sensation in my right ear if someone whispers or does the food/slurp/swallow thing. Just curious. Lynn ga. Guest guest
Hi, I've been following this, and it is definatly related to my rls. My skin sensitivity mostly bothers me when I am getting ready to start my rls for the day. Then my whole body is extra sensitive. The slightest touch will bring on rls, and my whole body is crawly, itchy and pokey.
