Hi Rose-Marie,

I like your sense of humor!

Having my back scratched is wonderful, but I have to do it myself with a

stiff brush because my husband is afraid he'll hurt me and is too gentle!

Regarding doctors. Have you tried taking printouts of information from

websites, including pictures of hands, such as the one at CMTI? I know there

are doctors who do not want to be told anything by their patients. I don't

know the solution to that.

(This one is created by a medical professional, so your doctor may like it

best )

If your video players are VHS, not PAL, you could order the video for them to

see how much and how differently CMTers are affected.

" The cost of the CMT video is $15. You send the cheque to

CMT International

and we'll send it out to you by return mail. "

I don't know Swedish, so I don't know if there is anything here to tell the

truth about CMT and hands, and weakness, and so forth. I can see that there

is very little information about CMT written in Swedish. I hope your doctors

can read English too!!

In Swedish:

In Danish:

These are just a few suggestions that I hope might help.

Regarding the treadmill. It sounds quite a bit like what you tried. A machine

on which to walk in place and hang on. Some are better than others, but I

don't know why. If you try one and like how it feels and supports you, it may

be right for you. They take up space. For some CMTers they are helpful, if

they don't do too much. Only you can know what is too much for you. We are

all so different.

Good luck, and keep up the humor. (^.^)
