Guest guest
Hi Group: Let me make this suggestion as to the Subject line in our posts. At the beginning of the subject line, just add one of the following before you type in the actual subject. This way, posts that people aren't exactly interested in can be deleted and everybody should be happy. ADMIN: Messages from List Owner regarding vital information to all List Members and messages to List owner regarding list issues. DX: Messages relating to issues regarding the diagnosis of RLS/PLMD TX: Messages relating to any type of treatment options for RLS/PLMD ALT/TX: Messages regarding alternative forms of treatment MEDS: Messages regarding all types of medications SYMP: Messages regarding symptoms SUPP: Messages requesting support or giving support among List Members CHAT: Messages of a social nature HUMOR: Jokes, humorous messages, etc., that do not contain offensive material MISC: Messages not falling into the above categories MOD: Message directly to List Owner. Please post these messages to rlssupport-owner (AT) onelist (DOT) com Jodi Judson Cyberspace RLS Support Group List Owner http://surf.to/rlsinfo CherylQ@... wrote: > From: CherylQ@... > > It seems like there is a fairly simple solution to this problem. Guest guest
Jodi and all, This is getting complicated! I'll try to adhere to the new system, and I appreciate Jodi's efforts to make life easier for whoever it is that needs all this advance warning, but I can't help but think we all are doing an awful lot of extra work for a very few who must be even more technologically challenged than I am. Most of the posts seem to be from people from have no problem, and the few that did, quit anyway! Maybe there are private opinions sent to Jodi that we don't see. Sometimes I get this horrible flash-back to my first marriage, where everyone was frantically trying to accommodate a very hostile manipulative individual. Obviously this group is nowhere near the craziness of that situation, but there may be some parallels. ne, 59, Lawrenceville, NJ ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Guest guest
Ah ne that's so true. Here we are frantically trying to please a few while confounding many. The whole thing is making my legs buzz. CHEERS! Jeanne and Mr. Biggles in Poultney VT Mr. Biggles and I got stopped for speeding through Woodstock VT on the way to the VA yesterday. Gee, 7AM no other traffic around and I was flying through doing 40 in a 25 mile zone. Thought I should let you all know before it hit the headlines in the Boston Globe. (no I didn't get a ticket or a warning but I did have a pleasant but embarrassing conversation with the nice young member of the local constabulary!) Mr. Biggles hollered great obscenities throughout the entire ordeal.
Guest guest
Hi to Everyone, I changed my yahoo e-mail address from janegf@... to hickorywind_98@.... In the process I lost all of my e-mail, folders, addresses, etc. Anyhow I don't want to get into whatever is going on re " subject lines " - but a policy has been put into effect, I did not receive the information. Can someone send this to me so I don't screw up in the future? Jane ---ne M Isbill wrote: > > > > Jodi and all, > This is getting complicated! Guest guest
Dear Group: The reason for the subject line suggestion was to try and make it easier for all, definitely not to complicate things. I didn't expect all of the negativity towards the suggestion, so just put whatever you want in the subject line, just so long as it has something to do with the subject. Whatever works for you all, that's great. I haven't felt much like reading messages for the last 5 weeks anyway, being sick with pneumonia and trying to get myself better, but I thought that this might be a good idea as a result of one message that I read from one of the members. Guess I was wrong. I'm not angry or upset about this, I just wanted to let everybody know that this is not a " requirement " , just a suggestion and obviously, there are quite a few that don't appear to care for it.
