Guest guest
June and all: I'll attach Kathleen's message that your are referring to after this short message. I just want everybody to know, especially the newcomers, that you can review all of the " archives " of this list since I moved it to this server on Oct. 25, 1998. To do this, just go to http://www.onelist.com; Press " User Center " ; type in your e-mail address (the one that you are subscribed to the list under); and type in your password; If you don't know your password, you can input your e-mail address and there is an option to have your password mailed to you, which you will get within a few minutes. Then, at the bottom of the user center page, once you have logged in, you will see the lists that you are subscribed to. Just press on " rlssupport " and you will be taken to a page where you will see " View Archives " . Just press it and read on.... Here's Kathleen's message: Message: 14 Date: Thu, 14 Jan 1999 23:18:37 -0500 From: " KATHELEEN WILLIAMS " KATHELEEN2 (AT) xxxxxxxx (DOT) xxx.xxxx Subject: New member, et al Hey guys, for the 3rd time tonight I am trying to figure out how to use this darn new ISP I'm on. I was using AOL and it was much easier as far as I'm concern. There's like 3 different steps I need to use to send mail that's 2 too many (LOL) especially when I'm tired. Anyway here goes. First I want to say I have been away from the chat grou for a while and back on for a couple of weeks. I really missed hearing from all of you. I couldn't wait to get back on. By the way this is Kathy 52yrs. from Cambridge. I wanted to add to 's message that another herb I found/find useful is Valerian Root, I take 2 at bedtime and sometimes take it during the day if necessary. I have not had a probel with it as far as drowsiness goes. It's just been a good relaxant for me. I too have found Calcium and Magnesium helpful which I take in combination with Zinc for the same reasons. I also take Vit. E and Primrose Oil along with varied other relaxing type herbs as well as regular vitamins. I am now having to take prescription meds because my RLS/PLMD has gotten much worse but I still take the others as well. I also wanted to say that as far as the foot movement goes I understand what you all are talking about. I had it at first in what seemed to me just my toes and now it is my whole foot. Sometimes involving my ankles as well, it is both feet. Sometimes my ankles are killing in the morning. I'm sorry I made this so lengthy and I do hope people get to read this to find out if I did it right. Also, have to let everyone know I am startind a support group for RLSers in my area (Boston). The first group is this coming Saturday and I am scared to death that I'm actually going to be leading a group but also very excited. Good night and sleep well all. Connie just felt awful when I read your note the other night. Could totally empathize w/you. Been there done that. Hope your feeling and sleeping better by now. Kathy June K.
