Guest guest
To Dr. Levin and / or anyone in the group who can help me with this, I know this should probably not be of great concern to me, but it prompted me to think about it when Dr. Levin said " the abnormalities of RLS are felt to be in the spinal cord and or the brain " . I wish I knew what the " abnormallities " were, so that I could in some way explain this to other people. I've had this for most of my 51 years and still feel " like a freak " when my body starts thrashing around and all I have for an explanation is that I have restless legs. THAT is no definition. I always feel like like I'm trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill, and worse, I feel like that's what other people think I'm doing. I KNOW, I KNOW, don't worry about what other people think. i'd just like to be taken seriously though. We all know that there is no way to describe the torture that we go through, but i would just like to be able to say - This is a disease of " whatever " or this happens because ? . I know this is really a dumb question altogether, because as far as I know we don't know any of these answers, but Dr. Levin, if you (or anyone else) have any answers for me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Ninette, 51, TN
