Dr Levin,

I am under the care of a neurologist for rls. My first attempt at

medication (Sinemet) has been unsuccessful so far. I am returning for a

follow-up visit on Monday and I need your help with describing a

troublesome symptom. My presenting symptom which caused me to seek care

back in July was twitching which began in my face and then spread to my

arms and legs. I then developed " creepy crawlies " in my legs and

strange vibratory sensations in my feet and left arm. My latest symptom

occurs only when I move my lips to the right side of my face which

causes involuntary movement to the right side of my face. It occurs

less as I repeat the motion over. I am concerned I will not be able to

reproduce the movement in the Doctor's office. Is this movement best

considered a tremor? FYI, I have had a MRI and EMG both of which were

normal. I thank you in advance for any advice you are able to give.

Rose
