Guest guest
About feet and legs swelling: For those of us that have poor circulation and deal with swelling I would like to share some information with you that my father has learned about. Both my dad and I suffer from poor circulation and from swelling of the legs and feet. Like the swelling usually goes down by morning and it starts all over, when I take my shoe's off at night it looks as if I'm still wearing them because of the swelling. My dad started getting red blotchy spots on his legs and if he got a sore it wouldn't heal. The doctors told him the blotchy spots was where the skin has broken down because of the years of swelling. It was recommended that he wear the elastic stockings to keep the swelling as minimal as possible.... However, my dad's hands don't allow him to put his own stockings on so my Mom does it for him. Needless to say, now when my feet and legs start swelling I reach for the elastic stockings also and my hubby helps me put them on. Please, if you suffer from this - invest in the elastic stockings, you can get them in any pharmacy or get a prescription from your physician to get a pair ( my insurance paid for me 2 pairs. ) My dad waited to long and now he suffers horribly whenever he gets a sore on his leg (with the tissue so thin it happens often.)
