Guest guest
Okay it is my turn to jump into the debate MD or DO. I work at a hospital in the great town of Des Moines Iowa. We have two training hospitals in town, one for MDs and one for DO's. I have worked at both of them and I will take a DO any day over a MD. They are trained in areas others than " see the human, treat the human, ignore the human " . They actually take time to listen and try and find solutions. Whether it be stress related, family related etc. When it comes time for criticial care yes they are trained to handle that too. They are two billboards for the hospitals in town. The one for the MD says " Where the experts are " . The one for the DO's says " Where the experts train " . Des Moines may not be known for the great " medical " schools but we are also not in hillbilly land either. Hey Jack " the world ending in one year " have you been listening to Art Bell too much? LOL I saw on your website you had him listed, did you see him on Larry King the other night? I thought my husband was the only Art Bell listener LOL .
