Guest guest
<< Is this a common story for you? Did anyone think they were the only ones in the world with CMT? >> My CMT history is relatively short since we didn't know what was happening to my mom in the 80s and early 90s, and I wasn't dxd until '92, so I didn't have too long to wonder. In '94 our son gave me AOL, so I checked the AOL bios for CMT and found a couple of people. They led me to the AOL CMT bulletin board, then I found the MGH CMT chat room, all within about a year or so. I have known some CMTers in cyberspace for as many as 6 years. Last fall was my first opportunity to meet another CMTer in person. It was delightful, and I would recommend it to anyone. When you know someone from e-mail, (and/or from chat rooms) meeting in person is like meeting a friend you've known quite a while. I am very shy in person, so having the ice already broken helped me be a bit less uneasy. As for college, I put in my 5 years and don't care to return, but I'm glad it's available online for people who may need it. I wonder how many classes are offered.
