Guest guest
At my age, I wouldn't want to think about starting college again, but wondering how the ADA fits into things like this. ADA is supposed to have made things accessible, and certainly has made many improvements in many areas throughout the last 10 years. I know there's also a lot of ignorance of ADA out there, but I imagine lots of colleges also have departments devoted to " students with disabilities. " Sorry, I have no research on this, but perhaps that would be a place to begin for prospective students - if there were a such department, the roads might be easier to negotiate. Let us hope, anyway. I can remember some long hikes back and forth to the campus from the dorm where I lived - sure couldn't do that now!! And it was not easy then.
