Guest guest
Hello all, Quick question, Does anyone else bruise really easily? I am forever waking up black and blue and not having a clue how I got the bruise... ie not remembering bumping/hitting anything that would give me a bruise (this could have something to do with a high pain tolerance too, not noticing until there is something visible) but even if I just lightly bump something, I have a bruise the next day... Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know if there is anything I can do to bruise less easily? i.e. eat some particular food item, take vitamins, etc... Thanks! Like you, I wake up in the morning and the back of hands are redish/purple from what I don't know. I have a book case bed and I always thought it might be from hitting my hands on that, yet it don't wake me up. I have stood pillows up in back off my pillow to prevent myself from hitting the bed, but I still get the bruises. I guess I'm thinned skin in more was then one :-) E

Guest guest
My bruising is so bad, it's leaving scars! I'm not kidding, I guess you can only bruise the same place so many times. My Neurologist isn't worried about it, she says it's from the Plavix and the fact that the strokes have affected my balance, so that I am always falling into and over things, and when I do, I get another bruise! If I could only convince myself that my favorite colors are black and blue!! Love, Judy
