I don't think anyone thinks that pregnancy causes RLS but it might be a first indication of things to come. Kinda like diabetes......some women will have gestational diabetes that " resolves " after delivery but then go on and develop full-blown Type 2 diabetes later in life. Regarding childhood RLS, I think that the RLS " experts " now recognize that the symptoms of RLS may begin at ANY age! Before, I think RLS was generally considered a " mature " adult problem but I think that goes more for PLMS than RLS. IMHO RAINBOWPED@...
