Guest guest
ne: I looked all through my folders in my computer, and finally found " Dr. Meadows " web site on his book. You'll never guess where I found it.....in my " Trash " folder......Guess it's a good thing that I haven't emptied it out recently. I haven't really checked out the site, but the URL is: http://www.mdrestlesslegs.com/ Oh, by the way, put me on your " distribution " list, and if you're worried about him finding out what you're doing, he's not in the group anymore, so unless someone e-mails him privately, he won't know about it. Take care, Jodi P.S. I hear from a very good source that there's a wonderful picture of him on the back cover, without his shirt on.....LOL....Keep us posted on whether or not you get the book. susanne isbill wrote: > > > O.K., I already have enough responses to start my own distribution > center, so I called the number he originally gave to order the book, > and was greeted by, " Hello, you have reached Meadow's gift and flower > shop " , followed by times when they were open (of course not when I > called). Guest guest
ne: Regarding Meadows' techniques: Actually, I think that they aren't that helpful - temporary bandaids I think you might call them. I posted a msg a month or so ago saying that I had tried the whole range of his six exercises, and they gave my RLS a fit! wrote back to me saying that I must have been too vigorous in doing them. I suppose that he was right, but I have been leary of trying all of them together again. I do find that just one of them, where you don't move your legs at all, but while lying on your back, you just move your foot back and forth to pump the blood in the lower parts of the legs does seem to help, and I sometimes use it in the middle of the night when my legs are bothering me and I'm having trouble sleeping. I think that other parts of his book are better, and am trying to get more regular exercise, and have started taking L-Carnitine, and Garlic tablets, among other things (as suggested by Balch and Balch in their book " Prescription for Nutritional Healing " ) to improve circulation and oxygenation. I will keep you and the group informed if this helps me. Regards, Don in Albuquerque, NM

Guest guest
Hi All, The book arrived today. I'll read it and send it to the first person who indicated she wanted it, I think it was Ana. I'll send the list of other names, and as each one is ready to send it on, just send to the next person on the list, deleting the name of the person to whom you have just sent it. If anyone comes up with a better way to circulate, please let me know. You are all in for a big surprise when you see a picture of the author - he doesn't look like he sounded - in fact I'm feeling a bit guilty at this point! If anyone would feel more comfortable not having your address circulated, let me know, and I'll have it sent back to me, to send to you personally. So, are we all ready to be cured? I know I am!! ne, 59, Lawrenceville, NJ _____________________________________________________________
