Hi everybody -

Last week I told you about my back pain and a " brief " visit to an orthopedist

for help and he gave me a quick diagnosis of degenerative disc disease. This

same doctor I asked if he knew about rls and got a jerky response.

Yesterday, I went to a chiropractor and took the xrays from the original dr.

I don't have DDD but a bad back sprain and he treated me with electricity to

some relief but not all. I have another therapy scheduled. I am also going

to ask this dr. about his knowledge of rls. I have to say that I have been

blessed with no rls during all this laying around doing nothing...one started

earlier with some foot jerks but went away. ..I am saturated with Motrin so

maybe that helped...who knows.

Ann, the orthopedist prescribed Ultram for a pain killer and it did work

some...I ran out and after reading your post and your side effects to Ultram,

I'm glad I did even tho I desperately need relief at night from the pain as I

am not sleeping.

Anybody had any conversations with chiropractors and rls? I would be

interested if so and their responses. Anybody ever had a back sprain? How

in the world long does this thing last? I am weary of it.

Lynn Ga.
