hello and back from NIH

Good morning

Got back from NIH Saturday and had alot of email to check

on, wow the topics that a person misses in just a few short

days. I feel as if I am in the middle of a soap opera

sometimes. (hopefully no adultrous affairs or murders take

place LOL!!!!)

Jack, I guess marriage was the best thing for your health,

glad to hear it.

le, I frequently read posts but do not respond, it

does not mean that I dont care but I do remember you in my

prayers.

The research that is going on at NIH once again proved to be

interesting. You cant take any meds when you are there so

keeping the electrodes on my feet and legs proved to be

quite a challenge. Tape, coban, elastic wrap etc etc etc

would work. June gave me her phone number so it was fun to

call her and hear her " voice " . Had 2 MRI's of my brain

done, and yes I do have something (I think its called a

brain) in there. Wow what a relief, you run around so tired

I feel as if I had " lost it " somewhere. One disappointing

thing was that the RLS Foundation did not fund any of their

research this year. I was surprised to hear it. I had been

contacted by someone at the Foundation and they said that

they were going to fund it, but Dr Bara said that he was

turned down. But NIH decided he is making enough progress

that the research will continue. I have emailed the

foundation to find out why they did not support it.

Jodie glad to hear you are feeling better. My son battles

the same sinus stuff and it can really wear a person down.

This cybergroup is truly a blessing and I missed checking my

mail everyday and hearing from everyone. Kathy if you are

out there, did some wonderful sightseeing!! The cherry

blossoms in DC are so beautiful and the " beaver " controvesy

was funny to watch. I hope they didnt have any babies in

the tidal basin. (HA) Well everybody have a great day.
