Guest guest
To the Group, I received this & don't think it's a hoax..... anything is possible!!! What do you think of this?........ I just got a hard copy of the following: This information was e-mailed to all employees of the Metro Phoenix Police Department this morning (2/11/99): BE CAREFUL AT MOVIE THEATERS!!! PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHAIRS!!! An incident occurred when a friend's coworker went to sit in a chair at a theater and found something poking her. Sho got up and found that it was a needle with a little note at the end. It said " Welcome to the real world, you're HIV POSITIVE. " Doctors tested the needle and found that it was in fact HIV Positive. Please be cautious when going to the movies... One of the safest ways to check is moving the seat part way up & down a few times and REALLY LOOK, but DO NOT stick your hands between the seats. Most of us just plop down without looking. Also, drug users are now taking their used needles and putting them into the coin return slots in public telephones. People are putting their fingers in to recover coins or just to check if anyone left change. They are getting stuck by these needles and infected with hepatitis, HIV, and other diseases. This message is posted to make everyone aware of this danger. The change isn't worth it! This information comes to us from the telephone company workers. Make sure you share this information with your family, friends, and anyone else you can! ..

Guest guest
Jeanne and all, While it is good to be somewhat skeptical, I would caution everyone that this site also lists " headlight Flashing Gang Initiation " as an urban legend. It is not. My sister's husband was attacked by gang members after he flashed his lights at their dark car. When he reported the incident, the police informed him this was a common gang initiation in the Twin Cities area. So don't believe everything you read, even if it's on an internet hoax site!
