Guest guest
I believe someone asked about rebound and augmentation recently. I've been meaning to give my interpretation of these words......hope it's not too late. Rebound means to bounce back.....therefore, if you have been taking a medication that stopped your RLS, after a while it may not work any longer and your RLS can " rebound " . To augment something means to add to it.......and in our case, this means that there is an increase in our RLS symptoms, either in severity or the amount of time that we experience these symptoms on any given day. I could be wrong, but the most I have seen these two words mentioned was in connection to taking Sinemet......and I believe the cause was taking too high a dosage. Sinemet never worked at all for me so I don't remember at what level these problems might begin to occur. Connie
