Hi Group

This is my first time and I hope it works well. For the past 2 days I

having been reading a lot of mail and trying to see how this place works

and I think I have it down.

I have PLMD for the past 7 years and have tried everything under the sun

to get a good nights sleep until two weeks ago when I was put on Maripex

and as far as I can tell its my miracle drug. I am not sleeping the best

but when I do I get EIGHT HOURS of sleep. My doctor said he wants me to

stay on this dose a few more weeks (.375 mg. before bed time) to decide

whether I need to up to .5 mg. I see there a few people on Maripex and

would like to know what their dose ia and how they do on the medication.

I have not had any side effects with this medication. As for the others

that I took like Sinemet and klonopin for me Maripex is the best. I also

noticed someone asked about head trauma and RLS I would be interested to

learn more about head trauma and diabetes because I had both just before

this PLMD started. I have to thank My doctor for sticking with me

through this because we both learned as we go along. He didn't try to

tell me I was crazy or it was in my head like the doctors at the

University of Pennsylvania did, the told me I had nocturnal myoclonus

but my problem was my last job and my failed marriage (which was 10

years ago). My doctor even helped me to get disability and I don't know

of to many people with RLS who were able to get disability.

Well that's enough for now I know that I need to get e-mail addresses

before I delete then I know who to ask what question.

Thanks for listening

Rodney
