Guest guest
Hey folks....Kathy is a new member and by mistake, sent her intro letter to me. She asked me to forward it to the group. Here it is: Jill To: gunzel@... Subject: Hello group! Date: Tue, 12 Jan 1999 15:21:49 PST Hello group! I'm very new here, but have been trying like crazy to find info. on rls. I do believe that I've hit the jackpot! I'm 34 and have had rls since I was a kid. Up until a couple of years ago, I didn't even know that there was a name for this, and I wasn't sure if there were other people that had it. Have I learned alot! My symptoms are mainly kicking my legs(often my left one) in order to get to sleep. When I was younger, I often remember a combination kicking or rocking back and forth in order to fall asleep. Unless I'm totally exhauseted,I rarely have the urge to rock, just wiggle my legs back and forth. I'd be interesed in knowing if anyone else had the rocking experience. Since hitting on this list,I never dreamed that others suffered so with this syndrom. I'm happy to be here and I hope to learn more. Guest guest
Kathy, If this helps any I get on all fours and rock for what seems like hours before the twitching stops. I thought I was the only one silly enough to do this when walking works just as well. Sometimes I am just too exausted to get out of bed and walk so I rock. I even fell asleep in the sleep clinic this way and they just shook their heads. Lee
