Guest guest
Hello everone, I'm also new to the group. I'm here in the Hoosier state, IN. I have been lurking. I was diagnosed w/ CMT almost 5 yrs ago. has me intrigued too. I love the fact that he is so as my sis , Cathy who is also a member of CMTUS, would say upbeat. I worked in a factory where they made bearings. My job was to pack & assemble the bearings. One day at my job my hand & arm went totally weak. There was pain too. They sent me to company Drs. & I also had EMG. They could not distinguish between Carpal Tunnel & CMT. I still think I had Carpal Tunnel. Needless to say, I had to retire on a disability soon after that. I have been diagonosed also w' Fibromyalgia & Osteoarthritis, wich i think the arthritis was also caused from my job, doing repetitive motions w/ my hands. I bid on janitorial, taking a pay cut, but alas, my poor feet couldn't take that!! Walking, all day on my feet, on concrete floors was disabling. Well, I will quit rambling on for now. Guest guest
I totally agree with the chiropractic treatment. I started having the carpel tunnel symptoms, wearing wrist brace. Got an adjustment from a most excellent chiro doc here in Austin, no more problems. ===== judy in austin 5'9 " of wild Texas redhead SRVG 5/99 380 lbs Ext.
