Guest guest
Jodi, I don't know how the other sfeel, but I think Dr. McDoangh needs to be contacting doctors who treat a large number of RLS patients and are considered experts at it. There is no shortage of them if Dr. McDoangh will look around. In fact if he doesn't want to take the time to search them out, I feel sure the RLS Foundation would be glad to give him a list. He needs to discuss with them treatment via Sclerotherapy for RLS and set up a scientific study acceptable to them or have referrals made by them. If they don't think enough of the possibility to help RLS symptoms, then that is good enough for me. Dr. Buchfuhrer, Dr. , Dr. Ondo, Dr. Earley, Dr. Elaty, etc. to name only a few, are not so impolite as to be an interloper into our onelist group realizing a support group frequently needs to be left on its own. We had Dr. Levin who was a member of our group but he was an RLS sufferer which made it different, retired and a pathologist who obviously was not interested in being here for the sake of getting business. On the one hand, I appreciate anything, no matter how remote, that might help, being called to our attention. It has now been called to our attention and I see no further advantage other then giving him an opportunity to hawk his wares, in allowing Dr. McDonagh, to remain a member of this group. What do you say? Barbara P. S. This article has same author at " Vein Center " as one in 1995 I have already posted the abstract on: Kanter, A., Resolution of " Restless Leg Syndrome " after sclerotherapy, etc, in the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery&Oncology, 17:1, p93, 1991
