Guest guest
I am new to the support group. Every day I read of a different medication being tried and used. Are they all in the same " family " of drugs? Perimax, Mioramax, celexa, Pramipexole, Ultram.....Are they seratonin uptake inhibitors? I ams on the generic form of levodopa and it works so far for me.......I have been on it for 2 weeks now. Gloria 58 Louisiana
Guest guest
Hi Everybody, Gretchen, I have norflex but I do not take it all the time to give you an examle a presciption with 30 pills could last me several months. I don't like to medicate simply because I want to be in control. I have found that warm heat and massage work well for me . I had physical therapy and the electrical stimulation (TES is what I think its called) along with the ultrasound they did felt really good . I pretty much use the mind over matter thing when it comes to the pain and I do have pain.......always ......it seems if its not one place it pops up somewhere else this I have learned to live with the best I can. If it gets to the point I am so miserable that I either can't sleep or seem to move around then I take the norflex. My general pain relief is tylenol as far as medicating. I am fatigued enough without anything else and even the norflex makes me real tired. I also have one of those microwave heat packs it is real good for the pain also I wear elasticised band on my feet when I go shopping this seems to help me alot especally on concrete floors (they are Terrible). Hope these things may help some of you take care all!! Cathy PS. Diet in fruits and veggies also seem to help me if I eat anything greasy or red meat I feel more achy than normal.
